The Loop

A premier 100km / 62.0-mile Metric Century circuit connecting Central Indiana's signature rail corridors and open country roads.

Staging Grounds

42nd & Evanston (Start/Finish)

Sector 1

The official staging grounds at the southern terminus of the Nickel Plate Trail in Indianapolis. Serves as the dynamic rollout and final chip-timing arch for the 100km loop.

Cross-Town Link

West to Monon Trail

Sector 2

A lateral connection heading west through midtown lanes toward Broad Ripple to intercept the Monon Trail corridor.

The Greenway Spine

North to Hamilton-Boone County Line

Sector 3

A sustained northbound push through Carmel and Westfield into open county lanes. Continuous paved grade separations favor fast, organized pacelines.

Open Horizon

North to IN SR 38

Sector 4

Open agricultural roads with expansive horizons. Crosswinds become an active factor as groups navigate up to State Road 38.

The Eastern Turn

South East to Noblesville Terminus

Sector 5

Turning southeast toward historic downtown Noblesville to connect with the northern entryway of the Nickel Plate Trail.

Home Stretch

South on Nickel Plate to 42nd & Evanston

Sector 6

A straight shot south through Fishers back into Indianapolis on a dedicated, uninterrupted converted rail corridor to complete the 100km loop at the finish arch.
